Weekend Introductory Workshop
This course is a step-by-step approach to Yoga, in the oral secret tradition of the Tantric schools of India and Tibet. It requires no preparation or previous knowledge. We address your rational mind by providing clear explanation of the mechanisms behind Yoga, and spiritual practice in general. As such, we do not bother with weird rituals, dogmas and superstitions, but stick to the exact practice of Yogic techniques in a goal-oriented manner. We explore the original Yoga, so that the mysterious richness of this age-old tradition should not be lost or misunderstood, nor its secrets lost. There are many branches of the Yoga system, and during this workshop techniques from the following disciplines will be given: Hatha-Yoga, Kriya-Yoga, Kundalini-Yoga, and Karma-Yoga. Information and lectures on other related topics will be given: Yogic diet, purification techniques, Ayurvedic medicine, Yin/Yang balancing, Relaxation, Yogic physiology and psychology, Sublimation of energy, mental concentration, and the use of music in Yoga.
